Updated training is now available on the Harvard Training Portal GSD: Fabrication Lab group page.

This year, updates to training include:

• Updates to Response to Violation of Policies
• Generation of Biomaterials: Any process that involves microbial organisms to produce materials requires review
• 3D Printing Workflow: Billable Devices and Allowed Materials.
• Plaster and Cement Casting: Handle dry media in spray booth
• Laser Cutting Wood Products: Limit of 1/8″ for laser cutting operations

For returning students, faculty and staff, the Fabrication Lab Refresher course has been assigned to you and must be completed to regain access to resources. It is not necessary to retake any training you had completed previously.

All training will remain available online throughout the year, so can be completed at any time, but we recommend taking the time to do so early in the year, to avoid disruption or delayed access later.
