Project:
Model “body” is multiple part PLA print, divided and individually printed flat on Dremel Digilab 3D printer. Parts are fitted, glued together, joints are filled, or “patched”, with CA superglue then sanded smooth to remove excess joint patch and 3D print layering. Visible seams in photographs are false, they are not the actual 3D print joints. The seams were created by hand with a file and straight edge, model is then spray painted (3 coats with a finish sand between each coat). Wood parts are CNC’d and laser cut then fitted into model.
