Turn-on booth and wait for light to indicate the fan is running.
Application:
Shake can for 1 – 2 minutes.
Always spray away from yourself and towards the exhaust.
Test spray on scrap material.
Apply paint by holding nozzle 6 – 12 inches from the surface being sprayed.
Spray in a steady back and forth motion.
Apply thin coats, letting each layer dry for at least 10 – 15 minutes before the next.
Drying:
Let final coat dry for at least 24 hours. Read the product label for full dry time.
You must leave your project in the spray booth until completely dry.
Use the 4th booth, nearest the windows, in Gund 518 for drying.
Use the space under the table within the booth, in Gund L31, for drying.
Finishing:
Clean your tools and work area immediately.
Invert the can and spray towards the exhaust to clear the nozzle.
Complete a “storage form” for you project while it is drying in the spray booth in Gund L31.
Store unused product in a flammables storage cabinet.
Dispose of waste appropriately in labeled bins.
Turn-off the booth if no longer in use for application or drying.

Engineering Controls
Must be used in an explosion proof spray booth (Gund 518 or Gund L31).
Must be used near an eyewash station.
Emergency Response
Eye Exposure: Wash throroughly in eyewash station for at least 15 minutes.
Eyewash bottles are located in Gund 518.
An eyewash station is available in Gund L31.
Skin Exposure: Wash all affected areas thoroughly with soap and water
Ingestion/ Inhalation: Seek immediate medical attention
Report any incident requiring use of an eyewash or medical attention to Lab Staff as soon as possible.
Storage
Aerosol cans must be stored in yellow flammables storage cabinets.
Some cabinets are labeled for “personal” use, i.e. products are not intended for sharing.
Some cabinets are labeled for “shared” use, i.e. products are allowed to be shared.
Label cans with your name and date placed in storage, if you do not intend to share. Place product in a “personal” flammables storage cabinet.
Stored materials must remain cool (below 120F/ 49C).
Disposal
Designated aerosol waste drums are located near every GSD spray booth.
Use the small lid on top to open, do not un-latch the large lid.
Empty the can as fully as possible into the exhaust of the booth and place the empty can in the proper receptacle.
Never puncture the can, even when empty.
Plastic caps and nozzles, and brown craft paper can be recycled.
If any waste receptacle is full, notify Facilities.
Other Notes
Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product.
Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Never use near an open flame or possible ignition source.
Always consult the Safety Data Sheet for the complete manufacturer’s recommendations before use.
If spraying within a booth is not possible, due to size of item or other, consult with Facilities or Lab Staff to determine if a suitable outdoor location may be made available. At minimum, this product must be used at least 25 feet from any building or other occupied space.
