Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) detail the processes to be followed with a number of fabrication methods and equipment. These are intended to communicate the expectations of all individuals who engage in these methods or with this equipment, to better ensure safe practices across the GSD community.
The information contained in the Standard Operating Procedures does not constitute sufficient training required for operation of the equipment. Users must attend undergo training with Fabrication Lab staff prior to use of any Fabrication Lab equipment. Users must be knowledgeable of the content of these documents and operate in a manner consistent with the documents’ content. Failure to do so may result in suspension of users’ access privileges or other disciplinary action.
