Instruction

  1. Prepeartion:
    • Safety first, put on required PPE
    • Set up in designated spray booths
  2. Application:
    • Always spray away from yourself and towards the air exhaust.
    • Alert others in the immediate vicinity when using this product
    • Shake can for 1-2 minutes
    • Test spray on scap material
    • apply paint by holding 6- 12 inches from the surface
    • Spray in a steady back and forth motion
    • apply thin coats, letting each layer dry for at least 10-15 minutes
  3. Drying:
    • Let final coat dry for at least 24 hrs and can take up to 48 hrs.
    • You must leave your project in the spray booth until completely dry
  4. Finishing:
    • Clean your tools and work area immediately
    • You must fill out and display a “storage form” for you project while it is drying in the spray booth

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Eye Protection: Chemical Goggles if there is the possibility of eye exposure
  • Respiratory Protection: Mask are recommended when spraying material
  • Hand Protection: Nitrile Gloves must be used at all times to avoide skin exposure
  • Body Covering: None required

Engineering Controls

  • Must be used in an explosion proof spray booth if used inside of a GSD building
  • Must be used near an eyewash station

Emergency Response

  • Eye Exposure: Wash throroughly in eyewash station for at least 15 minutes
  • Skin Exposure: Wash all affected areas thoroughly with soap and water
  • Ingestion/ Inhalation: Seek immediate medical attention

Storage

  • Aerosol cans must be stored in closed metal enclosures. There are supplied yellow flammable cabinets near each GSD spray booth.
  • Stored materials must remain cool. Elevated heat (above 120F/ 49C)

Disposal

Disposal bins for aerosol cans are located near every GSD spray booth. Empty the can as fully as possible and place the empty can in the proper receptacle. Never puncture the can, even when empty

Other Notes

  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product. Wash hands thoroughly after use
  • Never use near an open flame or possible ignition source
  • Always consult the SDS form for the complete manufacturer’s recommendations before use
