Instruction

  1. What it does best:
    • The downdraft table is a large air filter, pulling contaminated air (wood dust, small particles) into the machine from its top surface and exhausting clean air out from the bottom.
  2. Allowed materials:
    • Wood, MDF, some plastics, foam, plaster, cement
    • No metal of any kind
  3. Basic use:
    • Turn on the downdraft table
    • Place your material to be abraded on the top surface of the machine
    • Abrade your material with the correct grit/tool and accessory (by hand, sanding block, powered sander)
  4. Safety reminders:
    • Never put anything sharp on the downdraft table surface
    • Never sand metal of any kind on the downdraft table
    • Do not open the machine in any way while it is powered on
  5. Finishing:
    • When finished, either vacuum or blow of your material while the table is still on. It is acceptable to brush visible dust into the opening on the top surface.
    • Turn off the Downdraft table
