Instruction
- Equipment Overview:
- Point of Operation: All cutting action occurs at the point where the abrasive wheel encounters the material being manually pushed into it
- Pinch/Nip points: Pinch points can occur between the wheel and shrouds, wheel and rest, and wheel and guards.
- Unguarded rotating parts: The grinding wheel.
- Flying chips/sparks: Chips, dust and sparks are forcefully thrown from the machine when in use. Much of this is directed back into the wheel overs but some is directed down and away from the machine and user. It is not uncommon for the user to be in the path of sparks
