Scanning
Change the mode to “Automatic Turntable.”
The “Number of Scans” determines how many scans or the number of stops the turntable will make during it’s 360 degrees rotation. You can see the “Rotation Between Scans” update depending on the Number of Scans.
Check “Auto. Grab Texture” to enable capturing texture data if you need it.
Before clicking Scanning follow the next step.
Shape Fusion Menu
Alignment
Set mode to “Around Axis” and set Y=1. Leave X and Z as 0, since the turntable is rotating around the Y axis.
Check “Use Texture” and leave it at 80. You can change this number to whatever works best when you are aligning post-scan.
Now Go back to the Scanning menu and click the Scan button. This should start the scan.
