Announcements

  • End of Semester Limits
    Time limits will be in effect Saturday, November 29th – Monday, December 8th, inclusive.
  • Survey: Future of 3D Printing at the GSD
    Please provide your input regarding the 3D printing resources at the GSD by December 14th.
  • Winter Hours
    The Fabrication Lab will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 19th and will reopen on Monday, January 5th at 10 a.m.

The Woodshop is accessible to individuals who have completed the online training. Those who have not completed this training should not be in the Woodshop for any reason and are not allowed to borrow tools.  

During the term, Technical Assistants are available to help with procedures, equipment, and setups.  Hours are posted online, as well as the door to the shop, traditionally the hours are:

  • 10 AM – 10 PM Monday – Thursday,
  • 10 AM – 6 PM Friday, and
  • 12 PM – 8 PM Saturday and Sunday.  

Any change to those hours or special sessions in the shop will be announced through student announce and updated on the calendar.

Woodshop Hours

The Woodshop is typically open:
Monday to Thursday 10 AM – 10 PM
Friday 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday to Sunday 12 – 8 PM

Check the Calendar to determine when Technical Assistants are on duty or whether the space is closed.
